I have always wanted a Terrano turbo diesel. Such a perfect SUV
-
i had the pleasure of installing a veg oil system on a TD Terrano imported from Japan. Couldn't believe i was looking at a 16 year old lapanese vehicle where i had to spend 1/2 hour just trying to find any rust.

I think we have a few other members from Portugal. Welcome Tell us about your engine.

Welcome! andreratao_dk, Nice Terrano.
I would say any diesel head is welcome. I have 2 VW diesels but, I am interested in others too, even owned a 1979 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup that had an Oldsmobile 5.7L V8 Diesel until recently. I am a Nissan Fan too though!
The picture of your Terrano reminds me.
I've always wanted to get my hands on a TD27T (Turboed and Intercooled TD27) from a Terrano and swap it into an 86-97 Nissan Hard Body (D21) 4x4 Pickup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Hardbody_Truck). I spoke to a place in Atlanta in 2005 that imports JDM Parts, at the time I was quoted a Front cut with transmission, transfer case, engine, wiring, etc was ~$2,000.00. I looked into it a bunch, parts availability in the US is good because Nissan Forklifts came with the TD27s. Back then I didn't quite have the $, Space, or time to do a swap. Even had a pickup with a bad V6 at the time too.
D21 Trucks are still available brand new in Mexico (http://www.nissancamiones.com.mx/), Kind of like you can still buy brand new MKI Golfs from VW of South Africa. The Mexican D21's are available as 4 Door Crew Cabs.

Now I am thinking maybe instead of tracking down an MkI Caddy and putting a TD or mTDI in it, maybe I should get a TD27T imported and scrounge a D21 Crew Cab Frame, bed and Cab from Mexico and build myself a truck. :D It's either that or a 77-87 Chevy Crew Cab with a 4BT, Probably easier but, not as different as teh Nissan would be.
I am off to dig up my notes from 3 years ago. :D
Welcome to the forums!
