Title: how do I hook up a tach?
Post by: Spothead on July 05, 2007, 05:23:45 am
someone told me I could use the W terminal on the alternator as the tach signal.  I don't understand how this works my alt pulley is a lot smaller than the crank pulley, I would think it woudn't be accurate.

I've read as many tach threads as I could find and they're a bit over my head. Is there any simple way of hooking up a normal gas tach?
