Title: Pics of IC setup on a 1.6td?
Post by: punkvideo81 on June 24, 2007, 10:35:32 am
I am probably setting up an Audi 5000 IC on my 1.6 td Rabbit soon and was wondering if anyone has pics of the setup in their rabbit to give me ideas. Was thinking of putting it on the passenger side of the radiator.

did you have to relocate the rad at all to make space for the intercooler?

no i didn't, the intercooler is 2.5inches thick but i was able to make it fit without even cutting the bumper.  All i removed was the bottom bit of the rab support (which didn't compromise any support)
