Title: AHU / 1Z wiring question

Hi everyone,

I've just picked up a '97 Golf AHU engine to transplant in my Corrado, but I can't find any wiring diagrams for it.

Does anyone know if the wiring for the 1Z is the same as the AHU please as I can get the diagram for that.

Alternatively if anyone has the diagram for the AHU that would be very much appreciated  8)

Do you have any of the loom? What gearbox are you planning to run?

I have the whole loom and most of the electronics, but missing quite a few things which I need to identify. I mainly need the diagram to help me splice it in to my Corrado loom  :?

I have the CTN 5-speed 02A box that came with the engine.

1.9 ltr./66 kW Turbo diesel engine, engine code 1Z,
to August 1996
1.9 ltr./66 kW Turbo diesel engine, engine code AHU,
from September 1996
on win elsa and the wiring says its the same for the 1z and ahu if you have your engine number i will put it in win elsa and send you the diagrams.

Fab  :D  The engine number is AHU 324 147 (1997)

Wow thanks! What an amazingly useful site  8)  I've got the 1Z VAG diagram so I should be able to match them up.

Nigsbro - I'd still like the UK AHU diagram if possible just to check on UK / NA variations.
