Title: oil pressure

so i have heard that the oil pressure on these vw diesel is not that impressive so i was just curious why my oi pressure on start up just pegs the sunpro guage and after the engine is warmed up it idles with 40 psi and drives 55 in 4th gear with 80 psi

if you have mechanical lifters, I believe the oil pressure is increased, and lowered with hydraulic lifters.  80 psi oil pressure.... wow...  I have yet to install my sunpro and thus don't know if thats good or bad.
