Title: Cooling Fan Problem on 95 Golf III
Post by: wolfsburgnut on May 27, 2007, 07:25:30 pm
Has anyone had problems with the fan control module in the Golf IIIs?  My fan gets really hot and won't turn when the thermoswitch closes.  The fan actually smokes :(.  The fan works fine, I tested it out of the car.

Thanks
Peter

Can the fan blades turn freely? My mk3 fan smoked and acutally melted while waiting at a drive though... then the heater core blew, YIPEE
