I ran across this on ebay with a buy it now of only $750, located in Colona, IL:

   You are bidding on a 1983 Volkswagen Quantum Turbo Diesel.  This car does not run!  It has a cracked block but the car comes with a replacement block, rebuilt head,  rebuilt injection pump.  The body has some rust and little dents in the left quarterpanel...other than that it is a straight car.  We do have the guage pod and the back seat, they were just taken out.  This car is being sold AS IS for parts car or for rebuild. Local pickup only!


This car is NOT MINE. Don't ask me questions about it.

...and I've got the quarter panel and parts to get it back to snuff!  Sorry.  Shameless plug for the Quantum I'm parting out here on this forum.
