Post by: zukgod1 on April 24, 2007, 08:28:35 pm
01 TDI Jetta

Replaced tips and had injectors poped, re installed and cranked this thing for a good 20 - 40min and nothing.

I'm getting some slight bubbling from #1 and #4 but that's it.

Any sugestions?

Sounds like you loosened the injector line at the injector to bleed air from the lines, right? Is the fuel cut solenoid getting power? #3 injector electrical connection hooked up? (although I think the car still starts with it unhooked)

It just started. Some magic blue smoke leaked out of the starter but it finally started. I've never had such a hard time getting one of these started after a injector swap.
Thanks for the help though.

You should put the smoke back in the starter ASAP

Yes yes!

Ya know though, I've just never had much luck getting it back in.
I've tried the smoke in a can before but it just leaks out.
