Title: clutch or slave cylinder?

cannot get first or second gear and just about goes into third and fourth also crunches into reverse.  with the engine off all gears can be found. I have bled the hydraulic system and am unsure how much movement there should be on the slave cylinder. help please

i have heard that the slave cylinder doesn't have much movement... the main movement is all in the master isn't it?
