No rust.  Streight body.  1.6l NA not running.  4 speed.  $500

I purchased a bunch of stuff off of a vw mechanic.  Apparently he is selling his house and retiring so he was getting rid of everything.  He had an 84 jetta w/ 1.6td, 82 caddy 1.6na, and a bunch of extra parts.  All I wanted was the 1.6td but it was an all or nothing deal so...  

The radiator and starter have been pulled (they are in the bed).  He was at one time going to put the TD in the caddy but never really got off of the ground with it.  He said it ran and it might but I've never heard it run.  I suppose it would be easy enough to throw a starter on it and give it a compression test but I'm really not interested in investing much time in it, I just want it gone.
