Post by: Patrick on December 09, 2004, 01:31:24 pm: Yea, I know it's a gasser. 1.8 , 4 speed. Still running every day, about to be parked in favour of a 92 Jetta/TD. Comes with 8 rims, etc. Needs front shocks badly, starts and runs great. Body a little tough. Open to offers, I'm an hour west of London, but could deliver if the price is right!

Getting rusty on door skins. The Jetta in my other ad looks better on the outside, but I don't think the Fox has the same problem with the floor.

looks alright but the only thing it's good for is a parts car if the front suspension is shot. Too many kms. Not worth fixing. If I still had my fox, I'd buy it for sure.

Post by: Patrick on February 05, 2005, 09:08:18 am: Well, my thought was parts car, and the miles are on the high side. Doesn't burn oil,and the only bad part of the suspension is the shock itself. springs/strut bearings are good as far as I know. Just has a serious bounce! :lol:
