thats really weird... somehow your sump is becoming pressurized enough to send oil out the dipstick... is it spraying??? dripping???

sounds to me like there could be some sort of blockage creating a back pressure.  the oil pressure on cold startup is anywhere around 100 psi which would definitely spit oil out of the dipstick tube... best you can do is tear it down and inspect.. maybe even flush the oil a little bit.

what type of oil filter are you using? only use Mann or Bosch filters.

definitely do NOT run the motor while it is acting like this.   if the oil pressure is escaping through the oil filler tube, then i'd imagine that other key components of the engine are not being properly lubricated... you will need to find out what the heck is going on.

The valve cover is supposed to be the point that relieves the pressure,  I would check the hose and system where it is vented and make sure all passages are open to the inlet.

Mine leaked from there as well.  I believe that there is supposed to be a small o-ring type gasket that slips over the dipstick tube when you pull it out from the block.  Somewhere on here I saw a post that had the part number for the gasket.  I wrote it down somewhere.  I will do a search.  I slipped on a gasket that fit, and gobbed on the permatex.  No more leaks.

yea but it should only be leaking at high revs and under heavy load... if its leaking at idle that doesn't seem right at all...

Is the engine tilted at all towards the dipstick? Is the sump smaller than the old  one. Is your oil level now too high? Or time for gapless rings.
