Does the piece (circled) rotate 180 degrees so it is easier for me to mount intercooler piping to it?

i couldnt remember if it does but i just wanted to get a confirmation, and if you have any pointers on taking it off that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can rotate that without any problems.

Anyone know where to get the gasket between the manifold and the elbow?
-
@Andrew: I've been turning them on 1.6/1.9 engines and both had no problems on clearance after rotating. Can be that I missed something.

Piece of wood+hammer. Don't worry, it won't break.

@Andrew: Can be that they are different. I can't recall that I had the extra material on the side. Thought we had only the elbow.

I tried turning mine and it turns out that the oil line is right in the way or the inlet!!!! what should I do about it????
thanks, Michal

Will it not break the oil line???
The oil line goes right thru the middle of the inlet....I would have to bend it quite a bit!!!
cheers, Michal
