Title: k24 on aaz manifold
Post by: Jimmy Diesel Junior on March 05, 2007, 10:45:43 am
Hi guys. Have been trawling the search forum for an answer to the following question. I want to fit a k24 to my aaz. I believe that i need to change the oil lines and sump which is not a problem but will the k24 from the mk2 fit the aaz manifold or do i use the k24 manifold??? Any other info regarding the swap appreciated also. Thanks guys

From what I have gathered, the AAZ manifold will not accept the k24.  I think the AAZ uses a 3-bolt triangle pattern to bolt to the manifold, the k24 and Garrett use a trapeziodal 4-bolt pattern.

What kind of turbo do you have on the AAZ???
I was able to use a AAZ manifold for the T3 turbo which uses a trapezoidal flange!!! If your car had a KO3 then you wont be able to...but besides that you should without a problem!!!
You will also have to grind off a piece of the intake manifold!!!
