Title: injector color

I pulled the injectors out of my old head as I am getting ready to put the new one on. The outer two are shiny silver colored on the bottom, but the inner two have the rainbow heat discoloration. Is that normal? Also, does it hurt to put anti-sieze on them before reinstalling them? I searched, but found no mention of discoloration.
