Shotgunned for SmokeyDUB,  where in Welland do u live.....
My Grandma lives be Welland Port,  any other details about this motor,  ie  oil used,  oil change period, filter used, etc   The more info u give the better, because we want to know almost everything that has been used and run through these motors.

I live in downtown metropolitan Welland.

The engine came from europe, where they use very high quality diesel motor oil.  There is an OEM oil filter installed, which is always a good sign.  The engine is very clean (for a diesel!), and there is very minimal gunk buildup in the intake due to the cleaner european diesel fuel.

Mark.

Perfect motor for the b3!!!! Wouldn't even touch it to rebuild. Cam contacted me and told me that you were selling this, I said I'd have to see where/how I could round up the funds for it. I'll do some digging and let you know. You'd be willing to get it to the Toronto area?

Joe

Hi Joe.  I'm actually closer to you than Toronto (about 15 minutes from any Niagara crossing).

Lots of interest though, so you might want to act quick if you want it...

the drive was really good too... borrowed dads van... but man welland has some pretty messed up streets... its a maze of one way's!!!

now I just need to source a pump and I'm all set! I think aidan can get me a DI pump that will bolt right on.  That would be awesome!

my Polish VW mechanic will be very interested in seeing how to convert these motors to mechanical injection too... he hates the electronics (especially from mexico...)
