Title: MK III Jetta - Rear Springs
Post by: Jetta Fan on February 26, 2007, 11:19:37 am
OK, my 97 Jetta is starting to drag it's arse down the road and I need to do something about it in the near future. I know Jettas are known for soft springs, so I was wondering what my options would be. Not looking to lower it, and I don't want it to ride as hard as a tank either.

I was thinking of a set of springs from a GTI but wasn't sure if they would fit and how much stiffer they would be. If the GTI springs would fit, can I replace only the rear or should I do all corners? What about the Jetta GT or GLX springs? Any better? I know some of the aftermarket springs are beter than others (some are stiff as all get out) but not sure where to get a decent set that won't rattle my teeth.

Any suggestions?

get some b3 passat spring and cut them so it doesn't lift the car. You'll be happy with the ride.
