Is it better to use 2pc or 6pc bearings on diesel engine??

I assume you mean...which is better, the bearings with
  the integral thrust washers or the bearings with the
  separate thrust washers?

  If so, then the general consensus seems to be that the
  bearings with the separate thrust washers are better.

  Apparently, the integral washers can get torn-up and
  disintegrate causing crank damage.

  I don't have personal experience with the integrals
  I buy the separate thrust washers.

  That's the way Volkswagen designed them and I imagine
  they did so for a reason.

Agreed.

Try to stay away from the ones with the integrated thrust washer.

Reuse your original thrust washers to keep the factory lash, and buy the Glyco bearings that don't have integrated thrust washers.

Put the 360 degree slot on main #4 for head and rod #3 lubrication.

If you need a set of bearings like that I can set you up with them, just pm me.

I won't build an engine with the 2 peice bearing/thrust washer!
