Up for bid is my 1973 Porsche 914. This car has been converted to a water-cooled road runner. This car is fast and not your typical 914. It is in great condition. This 914 is super-clean and rust free...

-1990 1.8 liter GTI 8 valve motor...
...Turbocharger from diesel Dasher(currently set at 9-10 lbs of boost)Intercooler from Audi 5000
K & N Air Filter
Electric Water Pump (in front, by radiator)
new weather stripping and rubber
short shift kit
new brakes
KYB Shocks ...

Can you say diesel swap?!??! It would literally be a bolt-in!! I've always had a soft spot for 914s... they are 70s UBERcool.

that *** would be a beast with even just a tdi-m, although the motor thats in it now must run pretty sexy, especially in that light of a car.  i know a guy with a 914 with a sbc in it.  haha, left me sitting.

Nice thing about being mid-engined is that the handling wouldn't be affected much by additional weight.

Downside would be working on the engine. Have a look at the pics... it would be pretty awkward to work on:

Only other downside is the front fenders. They've been replaced with the goofy "slope" fronts:

Nice car though, but very, very far way.
