Title: MK2 seats fit a MK2?

Thought I'd ask some of you folks- anyone know if MK2 seats will fyt in a MK1 ? I'd like to replace the front seats in my 83, but they're a bit scarce around here. But There's a few 85 & up dubs I could get. Any help?

it depends on how old your mk1 is. I think pre 79 and you need to do some modifying but post 1979 is a direct bolt in for the front seats
