How is an IDI non-turbo with a 3A trans such as the scirocco/cabby had?
Not much of an overdrive, 60 is 3K rpm, but there is some gear to accelerate with.
My prior favorite is the 7A with the .71 5th I got from a parts Jetta long ago.
You'd need 4th sometimes on long hills, but cruising at 75 on the interstate was great.
Thoughts?
