Title: Adding another fuel pump....just thinking

Hey gang,

Theoretically, could I add a gas style fuel pump to the fuel tank on my Caddy and have it pump the fuel to my engine/injection pump?  

Would it do damage to the injection pump?  

This would help alleviate some of the problems when I loose prime in my Caddy's pump.

hey,
yes you can but you need a fuel pressure regulator and make it about 5 psi. the only thing i can think of is if it will fit in the diesel tank, im not sure if they are the same as a gas tank.
