well,
i ended up replacing my glow plugs with new ones from the dealer and rebuilt injectors with new heat shields from a parts wholesale place in NJ....
i torqued the new injectors to 55ftlbs.... i installed new vaccum hose from injector to injector.... now the car hardly starts up on a cold start....
smokes like hell, and the car seems like it misfiring.... all of this happens until the motor finally warms up for like 4 or 5 mins.
i already checked the glowplugs with a test light, they all lit it up.... i also did an ohm test... each one had 0.40
i cracked each of the injector lines to free up air, etc... i also did this on the fuel filter as well.
something is starting to tell me that maybe one of the rebuilt injectors is faulty.
anyone have any ideas? the car ran alot better before.....
the car does run fine after 4-5mins of warming up

Did you set the correct breaking pressures on the injectors? I dont think rebulding injectors really helps as Its the wear of them that reduce their performance unless they needed cleaning even so professionals clean them using ultrasound.
-
i bought the injectors already full rebuilt, all i did was install them.
can you explain setting the correct breaking pressures on the injectors?
i just finished driving the car for a rip on the highway.... it definately feels more powerful under w.o.t. .... again, this is only after the car has been running for like 5mins, and the motor has warmed up and the hesitation/sputtering has stopped

check your timing.

are you supposed to recalibrate the fuel pump when you change injectors?
the funny thing is that the car runs smooth after the motor is fully warmed
so it's kind of weird that the problem might be with the new rebuilt injectors

No. But sometimes people advance the timing to make up for poor injector performance. Then you get the car, put in new injectors, and it runs like sh*t and you don't know why. Happened to me. The guy had it set at .046 (max is .039). It missed and ran rough with the old injectors. Was even worse with the new ones, until I set the timing back.
