Title: Hard Injector Lines......
Post by: Donny on January 19, 2007, 03:51:32 pm
I got mine from e-bay and I am wondering if there is anything special I have to take into consideration with these?

Will I kill the injector pump if I don't find a way to prime them before trying to start the car.... seeing as they will be full of air. I have no clue what I have to watch for here. So any tips or hints are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You dont have to prime them....the only thing i would do is put a drop of oil on all the conections (thread)...car should start no problem. It might take a sec or two longer. good luck

hook up all the lines... tighten them up but leave the ends of the lines that connect to the injectors loose.  crank the motor until you see fuel come out.  tighten the lines up and enjoy!

just never
never
never
bend a hi pressure diesel fuel injector line
the plating can fracture over time and be sent into your injectors
i know im always sayin that, but its a little known fact by most people
just keep the lines loose when you install them(loose on the injector)
and crank till fuel spits out
tighten them down, and crank till it fires off
