Title: 1.9 TD Injection Pump Mod Question

I have a 1993 Passat with a 1.9 TD and I was going to do the modifications outlined in Smog's FAQ post to increase the power.  I obtained the 1.6TD boost pin, but when I took the top off of my pump, I was dissapointed to find that my pump does not have a boost pin, and looking down where it is supposed to go, it is not machined to ever have one.  My question is, could I take the top housing off of the old 1.6 pump and do the conversion that way?  Any help would be appreciated.

hi everybody, i'm new and a poor english french with an audi 80 1.9 td aaz 1993 very interested by your forum, i do also some modification on my pump and like starrd was wondering if i can put the governor of a golf gtd 1.6 on my 1.9 witch like starrd dont have any lda and not machined to have one.
i also put a mercedes intercooler with the enrichisment screw turned and as i have yet the gtd 1.6 pump was thinking to change the top .
i see some good specialist in this forum and hope they can help me to... :?:

if u decide not to use the pin or can't, i'm looking for one, i'll buy it off ya, i haven't checked my pump in my 93 golf td yet.

Cheesetoast, where abouts are you located in BC?  I can tell you where you can get a core for the boost pin for cheap - I got mine for next to nothing as the pump was labeled NFG.  He had lots more just like it.
