Title: MKI Golf/Jetta - A1 Rabbit Side repeater mounting template.
Post by: Baxter on January 05, 2007, 01:40:28 pm
How do, just in the process of doing a bit of a resto on my MKI Caddy, I fitted some genuine VW wings to it but they came without holes for the side repeaters.
I took measurements from the old wings and made a template for drilling the new holes in the new wings, only I went a bit "extra" on it and made a downloadable/printable page for doing the job.
Im not sure if you lot over on the other side of the water had side repeaters or not, maybe a nice little upgrade a little out of the ordinary.
Anyway, if you are replacing the wings, heres the template..

Just had a quick scan on Google images, seems you didn't have them..
They were a legal requirement in the UK from about 1985 onwards.
If anyone wants any I can supply in amber, clear and smoked.

Very cool, I wanted these on my rabbit but never got around to it. It's just parked right now so I'm not working on it
