hey all, i've got a solid, rust free (except a surface spot on the hood) '85 jetta stock turbo diesel.  runs well, starts great in the cold, gets 49 mpg on road trips.  new tires.  need to sell to begin to pay for college.  feel free to ask if you've got questions.  and i realize the price may seem high, so i can negotiate...i just cannot afford to give it away at this point...but i guess if i could afford to keep it i would :)

theres a guy i know with a german rabbit diesel round eyes yo, the body from what i have seen only has surface rust, most of which he took care of, but paint is obviously touched up and there are big but minor dents along the passenger side and the interior isn't really that good, the seats are alright i believe, but the dash is cracked badly as i remember, and he wants 2300 for it.  i'm sure he'd let it go for 2k, but i think the price is a little salty on that car, although i wouldn't mind having it simply because it's a german car.  anyways, although 2300 is pricey, i think in some ways it's well worth it.  but people always stop and think they can get it for a couple hundred dollars. it has a rebuilt motor and stuff, so they definetly won't lol
