Title: Intercooler hosing?
Post by: con on December 21, 2006, 03:21:14 pm
I'm setting up a front mounted intercooler on my Mk2 GTD and instead of having to buy various pieces to join it all up, I found these flexible hoses for sale on ebay. I was thinking of buying 2 metre long lengths of this to join up the intercooler. Is it suitable? Any help appreciated.

yeah... that is crazy... 2" for like... 80 bucks?! or did they mean feet?   still you could probably pay to get it fabbed up for way cheaper than that.

balls busted.

No by 2" they mean 2 inches in diameter. The hosing is 1 metre long, or about 3.3 feet? But I agree it is pricy...

its not a good price.
my brother just bought a meter something like 45-55mm diameter from Gates (like the belts) i think it was for less than this one...
i ask him tomorow again...
the gates hose he bought is a very strong one for turbos, not a cheap radiator hose or something.
