Title: [Golf Mk2] windshield water-jet

My windshield washer (I don't know the right name in english..) doesn't work.  The wipers work fine, but when I activate the washer, the thing gives no response! No water, no wipers.
The rear washer is ok, btw  :idea:

I belive there must be some disconnected wire somewhere because this problem just came after my mechanic replaced the heater core radiator, dashboard out and stuff...  :roll:
How shall I fix this?

any help appreciated.

Probably a bad switch. If you remove the steering wheel column trim you'll see all the connectors, one may be loose
