I have to get rid of my Lesharo's. I have 2, an 84 and an 85 both diesels. The 85 is running and has been used extensively since new. It has about 106,000 miles and runs great. I have replaced the starter, alternator, water heater and most of the hoses and belts. The timing belt was done at 100,000. The head was replaced by the PO. I also have EGT and boost gauges istalled to keep track of engine temps. I am asking $4500 for it. The 84 is in good shape, but hasn't run for a couple of years. I also have a spare engine and tranny, new fiberglass lower panels, and other misc spare parts. You can have the whole lot, both RV's and parts for $7500.

What kind of mpg do you get with these? I knew someone who had one with the 2.2L 4 cycl gas, and got 13 mpg. How much would you be willing to sell just the 84 for? Pictures?

If you want just the 84 RV itself, I would take $1500. If you want the extra parts, ie the spare motor, tranny, turbo, alt, starter and misc body parts, I would take $3000.
The 85 gets 20 to 25 mpg depending on if you are on the freeway or taking back roads. I have not had any trouble keeping up with traffic in either case. I have even passed a few semis on the way.
These have a Bosch VE injection pump with I believe a 9mm head but I do not know for sure. I have "turned up" the one on the 85 with good results. The T3 turbo will easily spool past 15 psi (the limit on my gauge) but I have been cautioned about keeping it below 18 for long gasket life. Andy2 I belive has some sxperience working on these. Of course, I also have a fll set of manuals for it .
If you leave me an email at this address (grantsinitaly at yahoo dot com) I will send you some pics.

I return 26 mpg (US gallon) consistently on my 84 @ 55 mph. Hills don't seem to affect it much, only highway use. I agree also, these rigs don't hold up traffic at all atleast on the highway.

I have to take the running Winnebago off the market. Long story short a guy took it for a spin (without permission) and blew the engine. Overheated it and now it is siezed.
The non running one with the parts is still for sale.

Yeah, I am going to the lawyer today to figure out how to sue him. It is $5,300 for a rebuilt engine including install labor. I don't know the extent of the internal damage but I do know it will not turn over. I am guessing the pistons have melted. Since it is an all aluminum engine, I think the whole thing is toast.
After thus unfolded, I found out the guy has some serious mental issues.
