Hi all   I found another 1.6 td at a picanpul yard today!!!!! this one wasn't eaten by the metal termites , just nibbeled on.... ( the head was off and on the seat)  It took me 2 hrs to pull it out..... with no lift........ and it was half price day too !!!!!! 129.00 and 35.00 back for my dead 1.6na IF I turn it in for core...... 94.00 not bad!!!!!!:lol:  its the quantum north/south type, so who knows a suzuki 4wd might be in my future,,,,,,, maybe I'll find one that hasn't been shredded .. :wink: ... they do sell whole cars there,  too.  as a side note I saw a xjs jag in the Newark yard ..........totally stripped to the bare shell....... guy here in the valley of the moon (really!) sold one for 2grand with 2 spare engines!!  :shock:

Excellent.

I have an 84 with a 1.6D.   I keep dreaming about going down to the junkyards and pulling a 1.6TD but I guess I'm not man enough yet.
