Title: TD Specific Parts?
Post by: Bludodger on October 11, 2006, 03:36:26 pm
Taking a A2 TD Motor out of a junk car. What pieces should I take that are TD specific?

My List so far:

Pump, Lines and Injectors
Turbo
Air Intake, Air Box
Exhaust Manifold? Is this specific?
Flywheel? yea or ney?
Tranny?

Any other stuff I should keep in mind?

Thanks

exhaust manifold is 100% differant, grab that.
I'd say just take the whole lump  :D
The coolant/oil cooler/warmer
The glow plugs/relays may be differant (depending on your car)

Are you putting all this onto a NA diesel? What years are the cars?
