sorry ... Not a deal at all .. motors go for 100$ to 200$ at Pic an'pull. tranys go for 75$   :wink: drive down to the bay area , we got 7 here.... 8)

Ya know...thats something I miss about Kalifornia. Of course you live in the northern part (which should remove its self from the southern part..about a border at bakersfield)

Where I lived there were 6 self serv wrecking yards. I could make the rounds in one day to scout them out but it would take all day. If I couldnt find it there I went to a full service one and I could probably get the part. Out here in Kansas City (altho its a hell of alot nicer and the people are nice too) there is only 1.  :(

Ive wasted this topic since its not diesel related at all. :D

I need a tranny, how much do you think it would cost to ship one to Wa. state?

Ship it on a greyhound bus. Get the seller to go to walmart (or other) and buy a plastic tote bin to fit the tranny into. Light, cheap and easy :)

I spend $100 shipping from Ontario to Alberta UPS
