Title: Is my car a Black Tie edition??

Hey everyone;
I just picked up a Rabbit parts car. It's a 1982, silver, 4 door, with a sunroof and black bumpers (with over-riders) and 2 adjustable mirrors.  It has two-tone (grey and navy blue) fabric seats and is a 5 speed. Oh yeah, and it also has full fender flares.

I'm just wondering if it was a Black Tie Edition. It is not a turbo though (just the regular 1.6l IDI diesel).
Any ideas???  :?:

:D  ha ha thanks guys! Now my friend wants to buy it! :D
I guess if he wants it bad enough I'll sell it to him (since he's a VW mechanic; he can make it go ;),) and on Friday I'm going to look at a 1983 Diesel JETTA!  :shock:  Oh man, I have VW diesel-itis  :oops:

It is more like an addiction. Once you start it is hard to stop. :D

the diesel addiction bites hard and fast.  and when it's bred with the vw addiction, oh my lol, and then when cars and parts start falling in your lap

Anyway, I didn't bother going to see that Jetta tonight, cuz my friend found out it was a GASSER! Not a Diesel!  :(  so what good is that to me?!  :roll:  :wink:  lol

Oh well, he's got a line on a bunch of diesel Rabbit parts cars, so we'll probably go check those out next week  :lol:

gas cars can be converted to run on diesel pretty easily  :D
