Post by: turbo caddy on September 19, 2006, 11:24:41 pm
hi
i currently are running a caddy which i have fitted a 1.6 td in out of a passat, its the engine with the electric water pump to cool the turbo, what i,m asking is how to hot it up a little??  is it a case of fitting a bleed valve to up the boost, blanking the blow off valve and turning up the fuel screw to increase fueling?? something i am reading about is this pin mod to the pump, can someone explain..... i have a front mounted intercooler fitted and a dump valve..........once again thanks................... :D  :D  :D

Do some searching and you will find you answers, install an EGT gauge and upgrade your downpipe and exhaust BEFORE adding any additional fuel.
