just curious, seems every golf i see is a N/A while jettas are TD. Did they make mk2 golfs as TD here in america?
-
I don't know about America, but Canada sure got them.
-
really? cool. my friend says he can't find a mk2 golf turbo diesel, says they all N/A. Guess he's just gotta wait.
-
No turbo diesel in golfs here, most probably a swap.
Jetta got both the 1.6D and TD.
-
I've seen/heard of 2-3 mk2 golfs with TD's swaped into them nice upgrade.I guess the reason the mk2 golf here did'nt have Td's in them was to keep the cost of the base model car down. The diesel golf with no options would have cost considerably less than a fully loaded Jetta TD.
-
so no mk2 golf TD's in Canada? Was it even a factory model? can't find info anywhere.
-
No, no MkII TD Golf's in NA, but they were available in Europe I belive as I saw an imported one in Kelowna.
