Hi guys,ive been stripping the timing end of the AAZ to fit the mk1 golf engine mounts to it, i romoved the crank gear to check for play (usual AAZ) and found this  :lol:

and the pulley is like this

the lump was a vw exchange engine 12 months ago i found out,so vw fit the tdi crank to there remanufactured engines (was a 1994 car).

I wish the exact same thing!!! i had 3 pulley failures!!!
