 My buddy had a rod go through the block on his AAZ.
I'm going to see how many parts will swap over to a 1.6.
He said I could sell the leftover parts to you.

 Ad an IM shaft Pulley to the want list. 028115021B I think is the part number. Should fit all 1.9 into the TDI 1Z, alh.
It is smaller than the 068 on the 1.6L

And a set of very good used or New pistons for a 1Y engine. Not the same as AAZ. New can be had but trying here first

 I think the pully looked good on the 1.9 I'm taking apart. I'll check.

I Think I am OK with everything for now. Lotta SHTuff picked up from Rabbit Jockey and new pistons should be here in a couple days.

Good. I think you can broaden your search to include AHU parts.
 Which are often easier to find.
