Title: What brand of timing belt?

I need to replace my timing belt and am wondering what a trusted name is. Are Continentals any good?

Conti-tech belts are often recommended for V-belts. My timing belt is Conti-tech too, but that's just what they had when I went to buy it. So far so good, but with less than 2000 miles it's a little early to say. ;)

i would just try and get someone german made, it's not like one timing belt is going to have better performance or anything, and ur going to change at 5 years or 60,000 miles anyway...

100 000 kms, at my current rate of travel that means 2 years and it will be time for a new belt.

I always read to make sure you get a quality belt.

I've always used conti-tech belts on all my european cars. No problems ever. that's what germanautoparts.com sent me for my TD.

I think contitech is oem.
Not sure if it's German made.
