Like it says above. Dont want to spend a fortune as I'm already spending too much on this thing already. :) Thanks.

ebay

That's the thing. I've seen tons of cheap dial indicators on e-bay but I have no way of determining whether they're compatible with the 2066 tool or not.

I got mine on eBay, but later found that you could also get them here:

I have never dealt with that company so I have no idea if they are reputable.

Seems like an awesome deal. I'll shoot them an e-mail tomorrow.

I think that same person sells that kit on ebay for $75 + $8 S&H.

Awesome. I just purchased it.

Yep.... I got mine from him about a year ago. Works fine. The gauge is an "import" (chinese), but it seems to do exactly what it's supposed to.
Like you, I didn't want to spend a fortune on it, but surprisingly you end up using it more than you think you will. Trust me. If you have any VW diesel-type friends and they find out you've got it, it'll be on loan constantly.

i bought that same set, works great excpt the pin was too short to lock my pump, nothing a 11mm deep socket couldn't take care of..
and that timing belt tension tool, priceless
