yes it's for the RA unless you have another suggestion as the order is not sent yet

oui c'est pour le moteur RA que vous avez en Europe, si tu as une autre suggestion de moteur/nozzle tu as juste a me le dire puisque j'ai pas encore passé de commande.

they was fitted on range rover2.5td.
i have to found the ref.

i think they need to have bigger break pressure.

first of all I need to know what people want as the minimum order is quite large and I don't want to have a big inventory ($$$).

Caddy, the range rover 2.5td's nozzles don't fit right in there?

What about the 2.5TD from Mercedes?

Blades?

the range rover's nozzles  fit nice, but you have to tune a lot for good idle and good fueling.instead of the RA vw's nozzles who are realy "plug'n'play".

in europe we have a lot of td engine , but the 2.5td mercedes is only a 5 cylinder ( or 6  :?:   don't remenber..) and make only about 115 hp or 120 hp.
the range is a 4 cyl with the same power , then i think that the range rover's nozzles are bigger.

so mercedes part are very hard to found because this engine could run more than 700 000 km!!!

upping the breaking pressure past a certain point is no good. You have to advance the pump timing proportionately to compensate. This makes for a very noisy engine, with too much advance in the higher revs once the internal advance mechanism kicks in. Maybe Giles has some input here?

i know that!
but you don't have to change anything in the internal advancewith higer breaking pressure you only have an offset advance timing, so you juste have to adjuste the statique timing !

what is for you the 1.6 gtd?
my first car was a 1.6gtd golf but it have only 70hp. (JR engine)

then you can have ( in europe) the 1.6td 80hp ( intercooler+turbo watercooled) it have 80hp. ( RA & SB engine)

this link talk about the RA injector.
and we usualy use it like an upgrade for the 1.9td engine ( aaz).

I talk about the RA engines.. but nozzles are useless if the pump is not at maxe on the fueling settings (can't bring the Idle down to 900rpm)

More noise is good in my book.

More smoke too! :D

buy a Golf 85-92 1.6D whit the AWY tranny without air box and air filter  if you really want noise and go more  fast you can(140-145).

answer the first post or go away
