Title: WTB: 1.6TD solid lifter head or used engine

I'm in need of a 1.6TD cylinder head (solid lifter). My TD jumped time in an unfortunate accident and will most likely need a new head.

As an alternative, I'd consider a good used TD engine from either a rabbit / Quantum or a later car (A2). In a pinch, I'd also consider running a 1.6NA if the situation is right.  Please let me know...

I'd be willing to drive within a reasonable distance from southern Ohio (~4-5 hours) or arrange shipping.

Are you referring to the casting / part number?  I can check that out and let you know.  It's the original solid lifter head for the engine which came out of a Quantum.

Nevermind... I found the number on the head.  It's 063-103-373E  

Doing a bit of digging in the archives, it appears to indeed be a "real" TD head.  Seems that both E and F were used for TD's...

Bump...Does anyone have a good used mechanical TD head or a source for a new one?
