Title: which turbo?

i have a 86 jetta td and it has the stock garret turbo on it.I also have a 89 jetta and it has a kkk on it which one is better and do you think I can get into the 16's if i use the kkk? I am running 17.2's now and all I did was the screwdriver trick , the broom stick trick,an mazda 626 intercooler and a boost controller (running 23 psi).

how much boost are you running ?

Read Smog's DIY ?

My friend 97 Jetta TD does 16.72, 14psi, NO smoke whatsoever, no IC, K03 turbo.

I would'nt mind taking a trip down to hamilton some night or whenever to meet also.
