Hey everyone... im a proud owner of a 1997 Jetta 1.9Td. I recently installed a new suspension witch is a Koni Coilover suspension system and then wanted to get rid of my rear drum brakes and go to disc. It took some time but you really notice the difference when hard braking! Also to go with the suspension and brakes i added 17" wheels and 205/40/17 rubber and man she looks nice. I would like to post a pic up and show it but dont know how  Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have highspeed? If so, the account usually comes with some sort of webspace. If it does you simply acquire a ftp clientside program like total commander, or whatever, and load the images to your space. You can then navigate to them at the source, and copy the URL link into posts. I can help you out if you have the space. Actually, PM me and I can post a single pic, or two if you like.

or use one of the free online hosting services like putfile.com

i always heard rear discs don't really make you stop any faster, i just bought some scirocco 10.1" brakes for the front of my car, and i'm gonna fit some mk3 rear drums, they're much bigger than mk1 drums, haha mk1 drums look like they're made for a gocart

I have also heard that, and when considered that hand brake is terrible on rear disc setup, I don't think that it is really neceseary to do the swap...
Offcourse if you exclude the looks of the car...

Discs also work better in the wet since the water is spun off them as they turn. FWIW, if you can lock up your brakes currently, the best way to improve stopping is better tires; if not, better brakes (or even just pads).
