Title: I need help form my fellow ohio dubbers

I need helping with the timing on my 86 Golf 1.6N/A.I do not have the timing tool nor the money to buy one right now.She ideas but it is lumppy with lots of smoke.I live in Toledo zip 43506.Thanks for any help

Pump timing or Cam Timing? Changing the time on your VCR?
