Title: WTB: US MK2 Jetta/Golf Diesel Chassis

I am looking for a MKII Jetta or Golf chassis with valid US title to put my new project motor/transmission in.  I would prefer minimal rust/damage.  My local DMV is giving me a hastle over a diesel engine in a chassis that has a gas VIN.  :(

did you try "its always been a diesel i don't know why its down as a gasser?" ....my rabbit has been a diesel from the factory but its always been down as a gasser on the ownership... i guess things are easier up here. good luck.

Yes, I already tried that.  The sticking point is that the PO did the annual emissions test and the test does not apply to diesels. :(

comes with full front end, full seats, sun roof,  tank, proportinating valve, engine mounts except front engine mount, tranny sellector....  give me a shout if your interested
