Just wondering if the stock airbox & filter on a 94 AAZ equiped Jetta is decent, or would an upgrade be worthwhile? I've seen the swiss cheese mods, but that still utilizes the same sized filter. I'm not a fan of K&N type filters either. I just upgraded the box in my 7.3L Powerstroke truck and wow did that make a difference in lowering EGT temps and quicker turbo spool up. So I now have a perfectly fine stock airbox designed for a 7.3L that I was considering swapping into the Jetta. I would think it would flow better then the stock one, but if the stock one flows enough that an upgrade isn't worthwhile then I won't bother. Should I do it?
