Title: Boost air temp? and turbo oil return temps.
Post by: Baxter on May 17, 2006, 02:40:34 pm
How do, just curious if anyone knows what sort of temperatures to expect the air coming from the turbo to the charge cooler/intercooler to be?
A friend works in the business of hoses and is looking into boost piping solutions, he was asking what sort of temps the hose needs to be able to withstand, same for oil exitting the turbo?
Any ideas?

Cheers!
Just need to work out that into degrees C now!

I came from one of those eras where we werent quite metric and werent quite imperial, we still have miles etc but most other stuff is in metres, sizes I can quite happily swap between metric and imperial but temperature confuses me!

For future reference, degrees C = (degrees farenheit - 32)/1.8
