Title: tensioner pulley
Post by: twopeanuts on April 29, 2006, 12:36:34 pm
I went to change my timing belt today, but it was in like new shape so I decided to leave it in on.  The tensioner pulley looked old though, and since I had ordered one with the timing belt, I decided to put on the new one.  Only - when I got the old pulley out, the bolt would not fit through the hole in the new tensioner pulley.  So I just put it back together as it was - runs fine.

Did I maybe get shipped the wrong pulley?... or maybe my engine has been swapped out and I ordered the wrong thing?...   are there different bolt holed size tensioner pulleys on different size engines?
