Title: Air in diesel line 1.9td
Post by: ssray on April 26, 2006, 08:41:16 am
Hi guys, first vw post so be gentle, i have a 1993 seat toledo(golf) if i leave it standing overnight i have to churn the starter for 60 seconds+ , i can watch the air going into the IP, so far i have replaced the visable rubber hoses frm the fuel filter to the IP and today replaced the fuel filter,
would i be better off running a new rubber hose from the tank to the IP or am i missing something obvious??
it`s a cheap commute car off e-bay bought with blown headgasket that was a knackered oil cooler.
cheers Ray
